The team
Each one of us brings something to the table, so to speak. While one contributes with her meticulousness, another has led something of a colourful life, whereas one of the members shows great clarity in their open-minded approach to matters, others are quick at helping and coming up with ideas and suggestions.
JUDr. Bc. Michal Březovják
lawyer and registered mediator
An independent lawyer listed in the Register of Lawyers maintained by the Czech Bar Association under registration number 11762, he obtained a master’s degree from the Faculty of Law at Palacký University in Olomouc. During his law studies, he also gained qualifications in management and economics, graduating with a bachelor’s degree and receiving the “Bc” title. This educational background helps him solve matters not only from a legal perspective, but also an economic angle, which is much appreciated by clients from the business sector.
Since 2011, he has also been engaged in mediation as an effective method for handling out-of-court settlements. He received a Mediation Certificate from the Czech Bar Association after passing a training course entitled “European experience in mediation and its implementation in the environment of Czech law” organised by the Brussels and Czech Bar Associations. In spring 2012, he attended a “BUSINESS (business mediation) follow-up” seminar held by the Czech Bar Association. In 2013, after passing the mediation exam, his name was entered into the Register of Mediators maintained by the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic, and he is authorised to provide mediation services as a “registered mediator”. He successfully applies mediation techniques in suitable cases in his legal practice, in particular when negotiating amicable settlements.
After successfully defending his thesis “Mediation in the Czech Legal System” at Charles University in Prague in 2014, and passing the rigorous examination in civil procedure, he is authorised to use the “JUDr.” academic title.
